Traffic infrastructure design is a part of activities performed by GISTEC Consulting from the very beginning of its incorporation. 

A creative process and a precise plan based on which we examine, with sufficient certainty and reliability, the current and the possible future condition, and then, we make necessary decisions and undertake appropriate measures to improve the current condition, and to implement positive and mitigate negative effects of the development.  

Numerous Main Designs, Conceptual Designs, Detailed Designs and Preliminary Designs in the country and abroad serve as evidence of efforts that we have made and our successful business in this field of work.  

We have designed:
• Vertical and horizontal traffic signalization
• Light signals controlling traffic (individual intersections and line coordination) 
• Cycle lanes
• Traffic signalling showing directions
• Traffic signalling for tourists 
• Temporary traffic signalling 
• Accompanying functions on the road, depending on the road class (petrol stations, parking lots, service centres, bus stops, etc.). 

The initial step that our team makes in the process of traffic design is the analysis of problems and the determination of the diagnosis of the existing condition.   

Then, goals are defined in accordance with objective impacts of the surroundings (economics, society, development policy), including goals relating to the preservation and improvement of the environment, safety of all participants in the traffic, through-put capacity of the traffic and alike.  

Sometimes several options have to be designed, so this complex, creative process also includes the exploration of all possible solutions, where indicators of the future demand for traffic services are harmonised with the possibilities of the offered solution per each option.
