The Preliminary Design and the Master Design of traffic signalling for the improvement, upgrading and fitting out of the Coastal Road for portions of Sectors III, IV, V and VIII (805 km in total) in Libya.

Brief description of the Project
The Preliminary Design defines road classes and permitted and adjusted intersections, taking into account traffic safety and the through put capacity.
Also, the accompanying functions along the Coastal Road are placed and fitted in, including all the facilities that lean directly to the road section and have an additional role in the functioning of road traffic.
Their function and roles are in compliance with changed characteristics of the system and needs of users of various road directions. The total length of the road from 805 km is covered by the Preliminary Design in accordance with the Project from 2008.
The Main Traffic Design is made in accordance with the Preliminary Designs and the construction part of the Project for a portion of Sector III and Sector IV, 522 km in total in 2010.
Later on (due to the war in Libya), the Main Traffic Design has been made for the portion of Sector V and Sector VIII, 283 km in total in 2013.
